If Swedenborg was a prophet.........

Because he has given more than a prophesy,why he is not approved by the church?

Again i inquire about two things ,Jesus said there will come after me many false prophets ,and instructed us not to believe them,and i find in heaven and hell ,a good place in heaven for good moslems,as if Jesus came and was killed on earth for no benefit to those who believe in him ,if they will be as good people in equal place in heaven with Moslems?And is not Swedenborg as you compared hm to John a prophet?send me quick reply please ,and where i find explanations,i mean spiritual,to the new testament?

I am not familiar with the Bible Meanings website, but taking a quick look at it, it appears to mix the works of Emanuel Swedenborg with others. For instance, the explanation of the gospels is by the Rev. John Clowes, an early Anglican follower of Emanuel Swedenborg.

Interestingly, Swedenborg himself only provided chapter and verse exposition of Genesis, Exodus, and Revelation. I believe this is because of his firm belief in the priesthood of all believers and so the right and responsibility of every faithful Christian to read and interpret scripture for themselves under the direct guidance of Christ through His Holy Spirit.

As far as Islam's efficacy in salvation, if you review section 514 of Heaven and Its Wonders and Hell - From Things Heard and Seen you will discover that the Moslems who enter heaven are only those who have believed that Jesus is "the very prophet", and even then they do not enter heaven until they have realized that Mohammed cannot help them and so turn to Jesus, accept Him as their God and Savior, and are instructed in the Christian religion. The point being made is that all in heaven are Christians, even those who come from other world religions and have only accepted the most basic tenets of the Christian faith while in the world (in the case of Muslims, those who accept Jesus as the most important prophet). And for these who have accepted Christ at some level, but who do not know the Christian faith in any depth, they must be instructed in the true faith before they can enter heaven and enjoy the fullness of eternal life.

Thanks Stephen ,not Steven ,am sorry ,but we are more aquainted with the name Steven.I am searching more and more because i am used to this habit,and finally may reach the truth.Because i found Daniel 2,Swedenborg explanation as if put to satisfy his aim,as another explanations,put it is seemigly in a more reasonble manner,ex,the four churches of swed,are four kingdoms ,in the time of nabokad nassar,maday and fares then the greece by the alexander ,followed by the roman,then the everlasting Christian?

yes for what?may be he have seen heaven,but all else is against the bible.How can t you see that,do i replace Swedenborg for Christ?you know you are so close to Jehova wittnesses,because you make Jesus a lord or king that will replace the trinity.

THE DILEMMA OF THE TRINITY MENTIONED BY SWEDENBORG REFLECTS A DEVIATION FROM THE EARLY TO LATE CHRISTIAN THEOLOGY,ITS NOT A CONCEPT THAT CAN BE EXPLAINED THAT SIMPLE,BUT TO ME IT REFLECTS WEAK MINDEDNESS,READ SAINT AUGUSTINE AND COMPARE ,BUT ALAS ,YOU DON T WANT TO THINK OR TRY TO BE BROAD MINDED.I FEEL SWEDENBORG WAS A VISIONARY BUT ,NEVER A THEOLOGIAN.

you have to answer those who ask you about the hope you have,its an order,and simply give me an answer from the writings ,instead of giving me the whole volumes and tell me ,that is it.

its really strange that Jesus choose two contradictory persons to preach his message,i mean Paul and Swedenborg,and it seems to me that Swedenborg did not find spiritual meanings in Paul messages ,because they are the spiritual meanings of the Gospel.as i read and read and read ,but found all the ways leads to the same result as you can read in Paul chapter on love.......if you don t know it,its 1st corinthian 13

I was so much astonished to read that Swedenborg claims Saint Paul is probably in hell,if this is true as you believe,i assure you that no need for any hope ,because we all will be in hell,and i hope that time goes back and would never read any on Swedenborg,because he made me just intellectual ,and lost all my previous holy principles.God have mercy on us.

i know i discuss myself and you are just reading from curiosity,but if saint paul with all his love to christ ,and to humanity and people are not directing him to heaven.i say by my free will,that the god of your swedenborg is unfair,and i prefer to have the god of the bible.
