Hello...can somebody tell me where or how to look for honest financial help for church plants that are trying to serve a previously unserved population. Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Sure thing. Can you tell me more about your church plant operation, plan, target audience, etc?

Yours in Christ,
Steve
Thank you.
Iglesia Paz De Dios (Peace Of God Church) is located at 33 Irvington Rd. Kilmarnok, Va., where we have been for 2 months now, Prior to that we were housed in a local church for a year and a half.
We are the first Hispanic church in this area. There is a substantial, and growing, Hispanic population of all dominations and countries, previously unserved, displaced, Immigrants...like Abraham of Ur.
We have been blessed with the use of a 14 room building for $250.00 a month, water included. Out of this there is room for our outreach program...ESL, Spanish GED, small business courses. "Ask-a-nurse", AA, clothing and food bank, as well as room for a sanctuary, dining hall, kitchen and other rooms. We are responsable for the necessary remodeling. Several donations of materials and labor have come forward.
One of our greatest needs is transportation to bus the workers from area seafood plants in so that they can attend services in thier native language and take advantage of the outreach services.
A key belief we hold is that we need to give back to the community at large, because 1) God commands it, and2), we need to dispell predjudicial stereotypes in this rural area. To this end we will be offering classes in medical spanish, seafood plant spanish, etc., taking Latin American programs to area schools, offering translation, and so forth.
Because we wish to support world missions we are planning a Latin American fair trade "Missions Shop".
All this takes money, legal advise and other support. We are lucky right now to take in enough for the monthly rent. We have no paid staff, and our start up expenses are glaring at us. We are in that crucial point where the potential is great, bu the foothold is tricky.
Any help, whetther financial, material, legal,or other for this arc we are trying to build . .....and for the displaced samaritans on board...will be greatly appreciated.
There you have it.
