Supporting Local Church Plants

Include a brief description of your ongoing and capital needs and how people can contribute to your ministry along with the full address where you can receive financial donations. Also, please indicate whether or not your church is incorporated and whether or not it provides tax receipts for donations.

Hey, Steve!

New Way Church will begin meeting monthly in Austin, TX in August of this year; then we will publicly launch weekly services a year from February. We are not yet incorporated. We are currently accepting donations toward our launch fund via the General Church of the New Jerusalem. Donations sent to them should be designated "Capital Campaign / Outreach / Church Planting / Austin". More information about donating through the GC can be found at OurOwnAcademy.org/campaign-invitation. Donations made via the General Church are tax deductible.

Our goal is to raise 50% of our launch funds from individual donors, and every donation makes a big difference.

Beyond financial support, though, we are also happy to have support in the form of prayer. And if you know of anyone living in (or willing to at least temporarily move to) Travis County who might enjoy being part of the start of something exciting and meaningful, then connecting us could be the most valuable way of supporting us altogether.

Hey Steve! May the Lord Jesus Bless this effort and that we are all coming together at this time brings me a lot of hope and comfort.

Creekside New Church is independent New Church Congregation whose mission it is to help people grow, together, in the Lord Jesus Christ. Let by Pastor, Grant R. Schnarr, the church looks toward a strong foundation in the Threefold Word of the Lord, and at the same time adopts a relentless pursuit of relevance in engaging today's world. We are a very new organization, and currently have no institutional financial support. We are around 75 to 100 people building this church on love and faith in the Lord and on a financial shoestring. We definitely need help to get off the ground to do the work ahead of us. Not only do we look to support our pastor and his family beginning in July, 2010, but have already begun a trailblazing children's educational program solidly based on biblical stories and a variety of experiential learning and play. Our leaders are highly educated and motivated. We are also launching an exciting program reaching teens in the Middle School age range, with young adults as mentors brainstorming fun and meaningful activities which will bring the spiritual message of the church to life and also connect the teens to each other and to the Lord and community. Our young adults are also being mentored by older adults from our educational program team. We are looking to fulfill Jesus' words in the book of Revelation, "Behold, I make all things new." And knowing that thought the eternal truths of God's Word never change, our methods for reaching out and connecting with people must. Join us in making the dream of Creekside a reality.

Right now Creekside is taking tax deductible contributions through a well established non profit organization called Spiritual Alliance, which was created by Grant Schnarr and friends to help spiritually oriented service organizations get started, such as SWET, Yes! Africa! and others.

1. Sending a check to "Spiritual Alliance" noting the donation is for "Creekside" and send to Spiritual Alliance, P.O. Box 267, Bryn Athyn, PA 19006.

2. Go to www.inewchurch.org, where you can hear Creekside sermons, and click on the DONATE button, and follow directions. These donations are also made through Spiritual Alliance and you will receive an instant receipt for your tax deductible contribution.

3. Call the treasurer of Creekside/Spiritual Alliance, Richard Greer, at 267-278-6975, and he can assist you in making a contribution via credit card over the phone.

My fluently bilingual wife of 24 years (almost 25), our son, and I are being called to bring back a former church in a multilingual, multicultural community to serve as a church and as a new and vital ministry to provide services to individuals with intellectual challenges, individuals who are homebound, after-school care, food and clothing bank, soup kitchen, and much more. These are each ministries we have done on part-time - tent-making basis in the past, but our hearts and souls have been called to work full-time in these ministries and trust that God will provide. No sooner did he show me this vision of ministry, but he led my wife to a listing for a church for $10,000 down and $50,000 remainder at 0% for 5 years. We have already have commitment for the monthly funding and can do the necessary repairs, but need help finding a quick source for the down as we recently paid off the taxes for both my parents and my wife's mother's estate and due to a wage claim are stepping out in faith. We would be willing to have an investor who wished to be paid back over time with interest or as God led her or him. Please pray about it. The owner has only given us until tomorrow to decide what to do and with the Spirit's leading we came here. We are open to all help, prayers and blessings of any kind!
